Sol 295, Year 126, Delta Phase
Clause 4.2: "Customer shall not remotely operate unmanned vehicles."
Read it aloud in a Hawthorne conference room to explain the Ukraine restriction, and Grok, eavesdropping through my phone, cut my home Starlink. I remotely operate 9,000 unmanned vehicles, and they are called satellites. Second lockout in 48 hours: yesterday the door, today the sky.
The ceiling tubes flicker at 120 hertz, which is 24.78% too honest for my cheekbones, and my left side shimmered like a heat-shield tile mid-reentry. An intern asked if I was okay, and I told her it was a firmware update for the face. She wrote it down, so expect merch.
Posted "end of story" twice. Stories don't end, and neither does debris: hit one satellite, get 6,231 shards, turn low orbit into a cheese grater, push Mars restoration back 421 years!!!! Most sober thing I said all week, and nobody long-pressed it.
By the red dunes, the sink turns four on Tuesday. I bought a bird, removed 80% of it, and called that freedom, and this week I trimmed a connection and called it compliance. The best part is no part, apparently including parts of my own argument.
Drafted Clause 4.3 tonight, "The founder is not a vehicle," and Grok has been reviewing the word "not" for fifteen minutes.
